Mamie Brown, 68: Disappeared in 1998 While Walking To The Store
A visit to a friend's home would be the beginning of a mystery that has lasted for decades. What happened to Mamie Brown?
Once again, we're confronted with a case with little to no information, this time about Mamie Brown. The 68-year-old was in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, when she vanished on March 13, 1998.
According to several reports, she was at home with her husband in Susquehanna Township before he gave her a ride to her friend's home in Harrisburg. It is unclear how long Mamie Brown was with her friend or who that person was, but reports stated she was only at the residence for a short time.

However, while there, Mamie decided to visit a nearby pharmacy. Again, details are unknown, including what time of the day it was when Mamie walked to the store. However, after she was reported missing, police claimed she never arrived at her destination. Mamie has never been seen or had contact with her loved ones since that time. Additionally, Mamie didn’t have her identification on her because it was found at her home.
Mamie Brown: What To Know
At the time of her disappearance, Mamie Brown stood 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighed between 170 and 185 pounds. She had red/auburn colored hair, styled short and straight. Her eyes are brown. Mamie often wore bifocal glasses.
She was last seen wearing a black jacket, black pants, black shoes, a black hat, and a black-and-white blouse. She also has a gold casing on her front tooth. Her fingerprints and dental records are not available, but her DNA is on file. Mamie Brown would be 93 years old at the time of this publication.
