Judith Rhones, 32: Left Work In 1994 & Was Never Seen Again
The mother of a ten-month-old daughter vanished sometime between leaving work and arriving home.
A woman going about her everyday life was never seen again after leaving work in 1994. For eight and a half years, Judith Rhones worked at a Safeway in Washington, D.C., and on March 8, 1994, she finished her shift just as she had done hundreds of times before.
According to reports, Judith left the location near 17th Street and Columbia Road NW in the early afternoon and presumably made her way to the bus station. She had no vehicle and reportedly needed to take a Metro and two buses to get home.

The 32-year-old had a 10-month-old daughter who was cared for by a friend while Judith worked. The missing woman’s loved ones reportedly told authorities that she would never leave without having contact with her family or her child, and it wasn’t in her nature or behavior to disappear. Judith Rhones has never been seen or heard from again.
The extent of this investigation remains unclear, especially if the police had any persons of interest or suspects. Details regarding Judith’s personal life are also unknown, and the mystery of what happened to her between work and home remains.
