Wanda Floyd, 60: Vanished After Leaving Hospital In 2020
Her remains were later located in Alabama and her case is reportedly still under investigation.
A missing person case surfaced during the quarantine. The world was under lockdown back in 2020, and as people were doing their best to survive during a time of uncertainty, Wanda Floyd went missing from Decatur, Alabama.
There hasn't been much information shared about the 60-year-old or her cold case, but it is a mystery that I hope will gain more attention to help bring resolution to Wanda's loved ones.
ForsenicMag.com reported: “On July 31, a fisherman reported to the Decatur Police Department that they believed they found human remains in Flint Creek of Morgan County. DNA was collected and sent for analysis with no matching reports in the database.”

According to reports, it was only July 15 when Wanda Floyd suffered an unknown medical emergency in the morning hours. An ambulance picked her up in the area of Jefferson Street’s 2900 block in Courtland, Alabama, and took her to the Decatur Morgan Hospital, a little over 20 minutes away.
It has been stated that Wanda was treated for whatever ailment she was experiencing and discharged from the hospital. From there, it was reported that Wanda secured a ride back to Courtland, but it is unclear if she was picked up by someone or used another method of transportation. Additionally, there is no clarity regarding whether the Courtland location was her home or someone else’s.
Not long after her disappearance, her remains were located, but it took another year for them to be identified. A cause of death has not been shared, nor have there been further public updates regarding her case.
