An argument in a Fresno parking lot ended with 34-year-old Tiffany Stewart being shot and killed, according to police.
Officers were called to the area of Palm and Shields avenues shortly after 11 p.m. on Sept. 16, 2026, for reports of a shooting. Tiffany was found suffering from a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene despite efforts by officers and emergency personnel to save her, ABC30 Action News reported.
Police identified Tiffany’s partner as 29-year-old Jeffrey Randall and described her killing as a domestic violence incident.

Tiffany Was Walking Away When She Was Shot
Investigators said Tiffany and Randall had been arguing in the parking lot at 3206 N. Palm Ave. before the shooting.
According to GV Wire, homicide detectives determined that Randall shot Tiffany as she was walking away from him.
Officers found Randall nearby and arrested him. The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office booking log lists him as Jeffery Preston Randall and shows that he was booked Sept. 17 on suspicion of murder under California Penal Code 187(a). Bail was listed at $1 million.

Detectives Continue Seeking Information
Although an arrest has been made, Fresno homicide detectives are still asking witnesses or anyone with information about Tiffany’s killing to come forward.
