Shrita Watson, 38: Mother & Son Go Missing From Louisiana In 2020
Information is scarce, but Shrita and 3-year-old Cain reportedly haven't been seen again.
It looks as if a mother and her child have been missing for years, but finding fleshed-out information about this case hasn't been easy. While thousands of cases only host a missing person date or a few sentences, not many include a mother and her three-year-old child.
This story comes from Mer Rouge, Louisiana, where 38-year-old Shrita Watson and little Cain Watson were last seen leaving the Bayou Gallion Subdivision on September 8, 2020.

Sadly, this is where details come to a screeching halt. KNOE News reported in 2022 that the Morehouse Parish Sheriff’s Office continues to search for the mother and son and is asking the public for help in locating them.
The status of their investigation is unclear, as there is no information regarding Shrita’s personal life, professional career, or final movements ahead of disappearing. Also, there haven’t been any interviews or talks with her family or friends in the news reports.
Although the Morehouse Parish Sheriff’s Office has stated that Shrita and Cain haven’t been seen or heard from again, it is unknown if Cain also has a missing person report of his own.
Shrita Watson: What To Know
At the time of her disappearance, Shrita Watson stood 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighed 165 pounds. She had black/dark brown hair and brown eyes. Any physical descriptors or what she was last seen wearing are unknown. It is unclear if her DNA, dental records, or fingerprints are on file. Her middle name is “Lee Chantel.”
