She was traveling to the next town over, but police say she never made it to her destination.
There are several rumors and theories about what happened to Scarlett Blanco. Although she was reported missing in June 2021, the 19-year-old was last seen on May 7, 2021. Information about this case is scarce, including details regarding the status of the Kankakee Police Department investigation.

The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System reported Scarlett was spotted leaving a known residence on Schuyler Avenue in Kankakee, Illinois. She was said to have been traveling to the next town over, Momence. Police do not believe she ever made it to her destination.
Moreover, before she vanished, Scarlett did not have a known address. She would stay with friends or at local hotels and was known to frequent Kankakee, Bradley, Manteno, Momence, and Hopkins Park.
Unfortunately, this is all that can be publicly discovered about Scarlett Blanco or her case. On NamUs, it shows that what she was last wearing, the vehicle she was traveling in, and the belongings she may have had with her are “unknown.”

At the time of her disappearance, Scarlett Blanco stood 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighed 115 pounds. She has brown eyes and medium-length, curly brown hair. She is biracial, Black and white.
Scarlett has two piercings in each ear and a nose stud in her left nostril. She also has several tattoos: a rose on her left front shoulder, a tiny sun on her right front shoulder, and the word “DEANDRE” on her right breast. Further, Scarlett has freckles on her face. Her middle name is Joy.
