It is always unfortunate to see missing-person reports with little information, but that is the case with Mitchel Iviquel. Not much has been publicly shared about the 42-year-old, but agencies state she was last seen after visiting family in Somerville, Massachusetts, in March 2020. After not hearing from Mitchel for 12 months, her loved ones reported her missing the following year.

Further, the FBI stated that the “Army veteran was unemployed and homeless and residing in the Central Square area of Cambridge at the time. Iviquel was known to be traveling with a Black male and his daughter, who were both deaf and communicated via sign language, and were believed to be homeless.”
The Cambridge Police Department also shared on their website: “Despite the time that has passed, the case is still an active investigation. The ultimate goal is to locate Mitchell and offer her any assistance she may need. In addition, CPD hopes to give her family knowledge of where she is or what may have happened.”
