Robin Hatcher, 52: Boyfriend Convicted Of Murder, She Remains Missing
He received 72 years in prison after confessing to killing her.
As Texas residents were attempting to keep cool during those sweltering early August summer days, the family of 52-year-old Robin Hatcher was contacting police.
On August 9, 2019, Robin was last seen walking in an Austin neighborhood around the 8900 block of N. Lamar Boulevard. It's been reported that she may have been with her boyfriend, Paul Ray Adams, a 37-year-old man.

It has been said that Robin was diagnosed with certain health conditions that are serious concerns if they’re left untreated for long periods.
Further, according to KVUE News, Dominique Hatcher, Robin’s daughter, said that when she spoke with Adams after being unable to reach her mother, he told her that Robin had kicked him out of their home and that he had not seen her.
Adams was immediately a person of interest in the case, and then, in April 2020, he confessed to killing his girlfriend. Adams told police that he strangled Robin to death before disposing of her body in a dumpster. There is no way to know whether his version of events is truly what occurred. Sadly, Robin’s remains have never been located.
In March 2022, Adams was convicted of murder and tampering with a corpse. He was sentenced to 72 years in prison, according to KXAN Austin.
