Michelle Chrysler, 22: Last Seen With An Unknown Man In 1997
She was reportedly visiting Gary, Indiana when she vanished.
For a case where there was allegedly speculation of an abduction, little is known about Michelle Chrysler. The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System database lists the 22-year-old as going missing on June 1, 1997, but very little is known about the case.
No agencies or news stations have provided additional information, making it difficult to trace the circumstances surrounding the disappearance.

What has been reported is that Michelle Chrysler was in Gary, Indiana, when she vanished, but she wasn’t from the area. It was stated that Michelle was “visiting” the area from Minnesota. However, as in many of these cases, information about her personal life is unknown. There weren’t any details explaining why Michelle was in Indiana, whether for leisure, to visit relatives, or on a work-related trip.
Sometime during her stay in Gary, Michelle was “seen leaving with an unknown male,” reported NamUs, but even that revelation only aids in the mystery. The information provided to NamUs did not indicate where Michelle was last seen, nor was a description of this man provided. It has simply been stated that she left some location with an unidentified man “and [was] never seen again.”
Unfortunately, because there hasn’t been coverage of this case, the status of this investigation, persons of interest, suspects, and other information that could aid search efforts are unclear.
A user on Websleuths shared a link to an article that suggested police suspected that Michelle had been abducted, but that article has since expired or been removed from its database.

At the time of her disappearance, Michelle Chrysler stood 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighed 120 to 128 pounds. She had black/dark brown hair and brown eyes. What she was last seen wearing is unknown, as are any distinguishing marks, scars, or tattoos. Michelle’s middle name is “Denise.”
