Marilyn Dennis, 43: Went Missing From Oakland Back in 2011
Little has been released about her case.
Some sleuths believe that Marilyn Dennis disappeared due to her frequent traveling, as suggested by a few agencies.
The 43-year-old Oakland, Calif., woman was known to use public transportation often, but it's unclear whether that has anything to do with her missing-person case. According to reports—which are minimal—Marilyn was last seen in the city on September 27, 2011.

Marilyn and her daughter were close and were said to be in constant contact with one another. It is uncharacteristic of Marilyn not to return her daughter’s calls or messages, but no one has seen or heard from her in 15 years.
Like many of the other cases on Our Black Girls, the specific circumstances surrounding Marilyn’s case are unknown, including what she was doing or who she may have been with when she vanished. The status of her personal life is also unclear.
Marilyn Dennis: What To Know
At the time of her disappearance, Marilyn was described as being 5 feet 8 inches tall and 250 pounds. She had black/dark brown hair and brown eyes. The Charley Project reports that she was last wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans, and white shoes.” Any other distinguishable physical characteristics are unknown.
