Jasmine Purvis, 29: Mysteriously Disappeared From Mississippi In 2020
She called her grandfather for a ride home and told him to hurry. When he got there, she was gone.
As families were figuring out holiday plans during the pandemic in 2020, Jasmine Purvis's loved ones grew concerned because they couldn't reach her.
According to reports, Jasmine was last seen on December 3 in the area of Carnation Street in Jackson, Mississippi. It is unclear why she was in the neighborhood, but reports stated that Jasmine called her grandfather to ask him for a ride.
It seems he agreed, but then Jasmine repeatedly called her grandfather again within 15 minutes, asking him to hurry. How long it took for him to arrive is unknown, but Jasmine was gone by the time he reached the location.

Jasmine’s Last Suspected Movements
Jasmine had a boyfriend who had not been named in reports, but he alleged that the 29-year-old received a ride from someone else. It is reported that Jasmine was last seen in a dark blue Chevrolet Tahoe SUV with an unidentified man.
A description of what this man looked like has been difficult to find. Additionally, after repeated calls to Jasmine’s phone, it was reportedly turned off shortly after she was allegedly seen in that SUV.
Two months after Jasmine Purvis disappeared, a local news station reported that there was “little progress” in her missing person case. The specific developments have not been shared, and no extensive reports about Jasmine have been made.
However, MissingSippi did state that weeks before vanishing, Jasmine witnessed her friend’s murder. Although little has been shared, the site stated that the “vehicle seen leaving the crime scene is the same vehicle Purvis was last seen leaving in.”
Authorities have not publicly spoken about Jasmine Purvis’s case, the vehicle that was allegedly tied to the previous crime scene, the developments of their investigation, or whether they have suspects or persons of interest.
