Gerri Nicole Anderson, 24: Missing After Signing Over Car To Drug Dealer In 1990
She reportedly traveled from Detroit to Chicago.
The last time anyone saw Gerri Nicole Anderson was on October 11, 1990, in Detroit, Michigan. She allegedly told her loved ones she was going to Chicago, though it’s unclear whether she was moving to the Windy City or just planning to visit. The reason for her trip has not been shared, either.

Two weeks later, Gerri’s father received a letter from the 24-year-old. She’d reportedly signed over the title of her car, a maroon/burgundy 1987 Ford Merkur, to a “known drug dealer.” The name of that person hasn’t been made public.
No one has seen or heard from Gerri since. Other information included in the letter is unknown to the public.
Gerri Nicole Anderson: What To Know
At the time of her disappearance, Gerri Nicole Anderson stood between 5 feet 8 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall. She reportedly weighed anywhere between 120 and 150 pounds.
She had black/dark brown hair and brown eyes. Gerri’s hair was described as short and natural, but she also pressed it. She has a dark birthmark on the top left side of her chest. She was last seen wearing tan pants and a brown jacket. Her dental records and DNA are on file. The Doe Network reports that her fingerprints have not been added to a police database.
