Devin Brown-Boussetta, 25: Car Found Abandoned At Gas Station
In 2006, Devin vanished. Police say her apartment looked like she stepped out to run an errand.
The last person to see Devin Brown-Boussetta was her landlord. The Winter Park, Florida, native lived in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and her apartment needed repairs. Her landlord stopped by on September 5, 2006, around 2:30 p.m., and saw Devin taking care of a few domestic duties. The 25-year-old was said to have been eating Chinese food, ironing clothes, and soaking her undergarments in the sink. Nothing seemed unusual that afternoon, but it would be the last contact anyone had with Devin Brown-Bousetta.
According to reports, Devin wed the year prior. However, marital bliss didn’t last long because her husband moved back to Florida and filed for a dissolution of marriage in May 2006. He admitted they weren’t compatible and argued frequently, and he no longer wanted to stay in the relationship. It was also stated that the divorce was finalized one month after Devin went missing.

Concern Increases
When Devin didn’t appear on the scheduled court dates, the process moved forward without her. Her ex-husband wasn’t even aware that Devin was missing until 2008, when the Pittsburgh Police Department reached out to him. He claimed that after he left Pittsburgh, he never spoke with her again.
Meanwhile, after Devin was reported missing, the landlord gave police access to her apartment. At first glance, everything seemed to look exactly as the landlord last saw it. It was assumed that Devin may have stepped out briefly with the full intention of returning, but where she could have gone wasn’t apparent.
Further, it was reported that Devin was the mother of a young daughter from a relationship before her marriage. The little girl lived with her father in Florida, and it was something that Devin’s loved ones said she was stressed about.
Continuing The Investigation
The investigation would uncover the location of Devin’s vehicle, a 1995 Chrysler Cirrus LX. Police reportedly found it abandoned near her apartment at a gas station. No suspects or persons of interest have been named.
At the time of her disappearance, Devin Brown-Boussetta stood 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighed 115 pounds. She had black/dark brown hair and brown eyes. Devin had tattoos of a Chinese woman on her back and the word “China” on her left arm. She speaks slowly. There is a scar on her earlobe and a burn scar on her right thigh. Devin has a gap between her front teeth. She is biracial (Black and Hispanic). She has used the last name “Dickerson” and goes by the nicknames “Dev” or “China.” Her middle name is “Janelle.” She would be in her 40s at the time of this publication.
