Da’Wan Shaw-Gibson, 20: Last Seen At Home In 2004
Little is known about her case.
The last time anyone saw Da'Wan Shaw-Gibson was on September 13, 2004. Like many cases involving missing Black women, there isn't much known about Da'Wan or the circumstances leading up to her final traceable moments.
What has been shared is that she was at her home on the 1100 block of Rally Drive in Hinesville, Georgia. The small town is nestled just southwest of Savannah, and the news of Da'Wan's case didn't even make it to any online news outlets for significant coverage.

On the day Da’Wan went missing, she was seen sometime around 10:30 p.m. The person or persons who last spoke with or saw her are unknown. Also, information about her personal life, romantic relationships, or family hasn’t been shared with the public.
Da’Wan Shaw-Gibson: What To Know
At the time of her disappearance, Da’Wan Shaw-Gibson stood 5 feet 7 inches tall and was 120 pounds. She had black/dark brown hair and brown eyes. Her ears are pierced, and she has a tattoo of footprints on her right thigh. She was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, blue jogging pants, and light-colored slippers.
Da’Wan was also wearing a gold wedding ring on her left hand and a gold ring on her right hand. Her middle name is “Janette.” It is also rumored that Da’Wan was also a mother, but I couldn’t confirm that information.
