Consuella Cash, 7: Little Known About Child Who Disappeared In 1975
It is always baffling when cases involving Black children don't receive new coverage or updates for decades.
A young girl vanished from Los Angeles, Calif., and we still have not received an update about the status of her case decades after it was launched.
Consuella Cash disappeared back in 1975, and one would think that this mystery would have spawned a massive search covered by local media. Still, sadly, all these years later, we're left with just a few sentences and a general description of the seven-year-old.

It was on January 3, just two days after the New Year celebrations, when Consuella Cash could not be found. The circumstances regarding her disappearance haven’t been shared by investigators, at least not publicly, which begs the question of where her parents were when the tot vanished.
It is unknown whether she was in the care of relatives or a sitter, whether she was at home or elsewhere, or whether she was being cared for or had accidentally wandered off.
While the scarce information brings about more questions than answers, it was noted by the Office of the Attorney General - State of California Department of Justice in their flyer that the seven-year-old “may be a victim of homicide.” However, no further details were shared.
