Cheree Atkins, 46: Texted Her Family In 2019 & Hasn't Been Seen Since
Her relatives contacted authorities after receiving the text, but the police couldn't locate her.
The loved ones of 46-year-old Cheree Atkins have been concerned for her well-being since June 20, 2019. Cheree was reportedly diagnosed with a mental illness and was being treated medically, but she wasn’t taking her medications at the time of her disappearance. According to reports, Cheree Atkins told her loved ones that she planned to harm herself somehow. However, the details regarding the text’s specified details haven’t been shared with the public. Worried, Cheree’s family contacted the authorities with the information they had, and although police did attempt to locate her, Cheree Atkins was never seen again.
Some suspect she followed through with whatever she’d threatened to do to herself. However, a threat of self-harm does not mean that Cheree doesn’t need help, that other contributing factors have caused her disappearance, or that she’s still alive and has walked away from her life. She was reportedly known to travel by bus or the Metrolink. Information regarding this case is scarce.
